The Oscars Fly UA
The Chicago Tribune reported that UA has been contracted to fly the Oscars out to LAX. Last year, as you may recall, they got lost/stolen/missing when shipped via truck. The comment from the writer was that they were not going to comment on the Oscars chances on UA...they did not want to break their News Years resolution not to slam UA so early in the year.

Well, they're a bit large and gaudy, but we did need new Salt and Pepper shackers on United anyway.

The other piece of news that came out here recently was there is a back-up set of Oscars, which has never been done before.

After the scare last year, they're keeping a set in a vault locally, just in case...
