Panama Papers implicate a lot of Thai
But will it make a difference? According to the BKK Post (which is quoting some other source) 780 Thai individuals and 50 Thai companies are among the list.

I think the answer right now is, it depends.
I suppose it matters if the usage is legal or not. It also probably matters if taxes have been paid and if the government wants that missing tax revenue.
I'm more curious to see the company list than the individuals list. Those companies could experience some consumer backlash.
Disclaimer, I haven't read anything about the Thai aspect of the leak. The only info I have seen regarding Thailand is the same sentence as above.

Exactly.
Red Bull's founder's grandson is still not arrested for killing a cop while driving a $1M USD Ferrari a few years and his lawyer complains the guy isn't getting 'fair treatment'.
As if anyone on this list would suffer an iota of embarrassment much less any legal action.

I think those on the wrong side of the current Military dictatorship will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law, and beyond.
Any of the elites/ruling class will sue for defamation (if they are named), and no charges will ever be filed.

And humorously everyone who's name appeared in the documents and who gave a statement to news sources has 'no idea' how their names were involved. They are clearly sincerely flummoxed.
