well, now we know its the 7444. but that is still no confirmation of any still possible changes of cxl 922/923 and new 926/927 or a mixture of those...
case still open and anything can happen. just changed my seats which took TG quite a while, whilst I thank and love them that they did that, but I pray they dont switch back to 346.
looks like MXP and HND will get the 346 instead of 744/747 (referring to airline route not yet confirmed GDS, but registered OAG entries)

TG922/923 is currently still closed for reservations on Wednesdays, despite the change to 747.
In regards to DUS....THAI in 2013 filed BKK VIE schedule, which did appeared in the system, but never opened for reservation and removed few weeks later.

EDIT. worries again !! they changed the aircraft back to 346. what are they doing?!

THAI earlier this week has updated Bangkok – Frankfurt service in the GDS, for flights on/after 26OCT14. Latest adjustments in the GDS is identical to the OAG Schedules Analyser filing since 25AUG14, which shows TG922/923 switches from Airbus A340-600 to Boeing 747-400. However, Day 3 service on TG922/923 remains unavailable for reservation.

TG920 BKK2340 – 0530+1FRA 380 D
TG921 FRA1410 – 0620+1BKK 380 D
TG923 FRA2055 – 1305+1BKK 747 D

They have no idea. Unfortunately sometimes thy should make the commercial decisions they need to rather than likely pandering to some people behind the scenes. There has been reports on AFF that they are also reviewing maybe reinstating the 747 and F to SYD, no direction at all!
