Been monitoring my flight from MUC to BKK on November 18th. Was showing as a 744 in Galileo but today is showing as a 747 - however seat map still shows 10F. Is this a positive sign that we might get the new suites or are TG doing away with the 744 aircraft code in GDS?

Don't bother with the GDS'es - they are NOT updated - only Royal which is where TG is hosted is updated. Call TG and ask them to check in Royal (this would require them to go to Royal from Amadeus, but they normally know what the entry is - if not ask for supervisor) or ask at the airport (they do not use Amadeus at the airports - only Royal).

Hi all, I'll be flying the 747 BKK-MXP in mid-December. Any idea if it will feature the new F? Looks like it's currently running the a340 on that route.

Are you not aware that Thai operates 747's on domestic flights? Most people who fly Thai are fully aware of that. So yes new F, old F, whatever F is available is bound to fly on HKT flights. They put them on domestic when they may otherwise have been on the ground in Bangkok waiting for the bank of Europe departures in the evening.

You can also buy $79 business class fares BKK-HKT and do TG F for $79 :P
