I do not find a compelling reason to prefer ANA F lounge over UA F lounge. I would typically use whichever lounge is closer to departure gate. For TG departure out of NRT, this is usually the ANA F lounge.

Note that on several different visits to the ANA F lounge, I had difficulty using the wifi. Ended up going to UA, where I had no difficulty.

Enjoy the flight.

For TG 380 the NH F lounge is always closest. All of the 380 gates are at the end of the concourse.

TH has only beds in F on 747 on long haul international flights

747 flights of about 4 hours has still the old F class eg beijing, shanghai etc

There are only two "old" 747s left as I understand it and they have not flown any of the routes you mention in the last 60 days or so. The only European destinations I've seen them go to are ARN and CPH and I've not seen them go to Australia at all.

Furthermore, I'd expect them to rework the remaining two 747s in the not-too-distant future. I would book the routes you are looking at in a 747 very happily and hope for the "new" suite and be totally fine with the "recent" pod. If you take the 346, you will get the "recent" pod 100%.

Your post confuses me:

TG does not offer F to PVG and PEK anymore and normally does not use 747 on these routes.

The oldest F in use, 14 seats in pairs of fully flat beds - so no recliners there.

It appears you have a choice whether to use miles or cash: Service Fees.

Question about the SPA.

Traveling C, which I know only get's you a 30min massage. Wondering if you can "buy up" to the 1 hour.

Last time I flew out of BKK was in F and I really enjoyed the 1 hour.

Agree on the * Stir-fried ____ with garlic, chilli and basil, though only departing BKK. I tried it once departing FRA...not a good result.

Thanks. I shall probably try the Prawn Chu Chee as it is labelled as a "traditional Thai dish".

My inbound flight to BKK is TG from FRA and it appears the pre-order option is no longer offered ex-FRA.

The stir-fried ____ with chilli and basil is my favourite and I always order it. It's very Thai and probably more popular in Thailand than chu-chee. It's delicious, I prefer the prawn.
