Whilst I agree that Thailand hasn't exactly got a good track record for smooth operations I would not go as far as assuming that there will be chaos and mayhem.

Don't get me wrong, i can see where you're coming from but really we cannot know and more importantly we should not assume that bad stuff will go down months ahead of the event.

Perhaps you mean chaos, protesting etc. This may or may not happen, that remains to be seen. Calling these strikes is an odd terminology which is not quite fitting for Thailand.

I would also add that anytime last year there was a hint of some type of protest, the routes to the airport were well protected by Thai military.

Seems they really do NOT want a repeat of the airport closure.

I have a trip planned to BKK in June / July, and I am not worried a bit.

The exceptions are very dependent on what the incoming/outgoing terminals are, and apparently if you're going to TLV. This is just limited to International->International (II) connections as it sounds like that's what you're going to do, if you need others let me know.

DEN and IAD

I am working on an international flight with a 90 minute layover at DEN and at IAD. I have never been through either of these airports. Is this long enough at each of these airports?

My biggest concern is that the layover at IAD involves boarding a transatlantic flight.

Both of these flights are on the outbound trip (U.S.A. to Europe).

My return flight is no problem, as I have a 4 hour layover at my point of entry back into the U.S.A.

The airlines are United and Lufthansa.

Thank you both. It's not a cxn to TLV. UA is telling me this cxn requires a terminal change between 1 & 2, which is not my experience, and the MCT is 120 min (again, according to UA).

Not sure I can do anything about this, but it's good to have the factual information.

Next Week I am routed lhr-bkk-mel in tg business.
I am a *gold (bd)
Couple of questions for the experts!

Is there a way to allocate seating online or is best to call tg directly?
Is transfer at bkk simple/fast is there a priority line?
Which lounge has the spa, I can't remember, was it c?

If the ticket was bought through TG just go online. Otherwise I call for seats.

Transfer is easy enough. There are no priority lines that I can recall.

The spa is across from 'D' lounge. 'D' is the only TG lounge with out showers.
