DFW mailbox

I know this has been asked and answered in the past, but it has been awhile.

Is there currently a USPS mailbox, landside or airside, at DFW?

I will be clearing immigration/customs and then reclearing security at Terminal D, so obviously that would be the most convenient.

This says no, at least for airside.

Dallas - Fort Worth International (DFW) | Airport Mailbox Project

I have not seen any in years, although I have not really looked around landside.

I suspect the nearest one landside is the DFW Post Office, located southwest of the rental car center and literally inaccessible for passengers without an (annoyed, due to the short ride) Uber/Lyft or cab ride.

If it's a letter or small package with postage on it already, I'd try asking the AAngels at the nearest AC to see if they can mail it.

You can also try the front desk/concierge of the Hyatt hotel?

The AA forum is discussion topics about AA and the AAdvantage program. Whilst AA is the dominant player at DFW, the airport is serviced by almost 30 passenger airlines. Thus, we will move the conversation about USPS mailboxes to the Texas forum for discussion about DFW airport in general. /Moderator

usps.com says no based on address and map search. I find that quite surprising as I think I recall seeing one airside last month. Does your US destination airport have a collection box?

This was the right answer. When I came out of immigration/customs, I simply went up the escalator to the Grand Hyatt and asked about a mailbox at the front desk. The clerk responded that as long as it was stamped and ready to go, he was happy to take it for me.

I tried this approach today with a stamped postcard and had no luck. Was worth a try, though!
