Probably a high number of threads created / started.
If FlyerTalk is going to have these badges, it would make sense to tell participants exactly what they signify.

I have the "All eyes on you!" badge, and am duly joyful about having started an extremely popular thread.

I was inquiring about the "Conversation starter" badge.

What is the new "Community Builder" badge instituted this month?

one more time — while it would be *REALLY* nice to know when FT (or IB) implements a new badge, it would be even nicer to know their criteria for “awarding” it

at least “Community Builder” has a somewhat more conventional (traditional?) implication than “All Eyes On You”

another (probably academic) question — since this is FlyerTalk, why do some profiles (like mine) have “number of countries visited” as the first badge? I’d *think* either “airline miles” or “years on the site” would be far more logical defaults, esp since it doesn’t appear there’s a way for an individual user to re-order the icons

I have deduced through expert analysis that "All eyes on you" is awarded when a thread you created reaches 5,000 views.

Anyway, point of my post: can we get more badges for number of hotel nights? The maximum of 100 is barely 1/4 of the total possible nights! A 365 night badge would be nice

What is the "number of htel nights" anyway? Lifetime? Per year? It doesn't say.

The title of the section is "Yearly Hotel Reward Nights" so I've been treating it as per year but you make a good point, it doesn't say on the badge, and it would be more consistent if it were lifetime like miles, countries and points.

Yes -- sorry, I didn't look it up before my last post. But it is woefully unclear in any event. Does that mean nights stayed counting towards a reward, rewards redeemed? And then there's the whole bit of what does "Yearly" mean. Is that each year (on average), or just this year? It's s unclear. The airline miles, countries visited, and years on FT categories are lifetime related so IMO the hotel one should probably be as well.

You earn 365 reward nights each year?

is there any way to turn this off? I don't want badges, I don't like it when the forum software "awards" me some dumb badge and it's automatically added to my profile without asking me and then I have to do a bunch of unnecessary clicking to take it off. this "feature" should be opt in or removed completely.
