I need you to link me to an example and tell me what it's suppose to say

Saw it on November 12th with one of my (2022 fall) posts in the KL forum. I'll try to look for it again.

can we get an example of old and new and the corresponding : code to make it appear?

this can definitely be fixed from our end, we just need to know which : code and which smiley needs to be replaced.

Hi guys, I brought in Robb from a different department to help out with the emojis. He's been with IB since God knows when and is a wonderful resource for the forum software.

Ideally... all of them. The : codes should be the same, it's just the corresponding gif file.

It appears these four have not changed: :tu: :td: :star:

Anyway, here's the full list of the old emojis.

How come he doesn't get the bold red user ID? Is it like an angel earning his wings? :p

Thanks, Joel and welcome, Robb!

Great news!

But....I still can't see inline content links (videos, some articles, etc) while scrolling posts in the web version, but I can see more images uploaded by other users. No similar issue with the mobile version.

and.....that horrific auto scroll on the mobile version that just needs to go away once and for all

are you using expressVPN on your desktop? Try disabling it.

I have a fresh example from today. Check out my SAS forum post from today, in the thread about strollers there. I typed “SAS @ CPH“ (minus the spaces) twice in the post, and it kicked back “email protected” both times in my post responding to chessman.

Also looks fine logged out in Incognito, by the way

Yes that one. It doesn’t look fine when I look at it from this device/connection. It shows as “email protected” in my post and in the reply that quotes my post. When I look at it while not logged in but using a different device/connection, then it shows fine. Weird, as I’m simultaneously seeing it look fine with one device on my left side while it shows “email protected” with a different device on my right side. Different internet connections for each device.

Update: when I logged out, the “email protected” problem was no longer there where it was; but when logging back in, the problem popped back up for the same post (including in the reply quoting the post).

No VPN, just straight to the internet and I've cleared cookies and content multiple times
