Still an issue at my office; on 6/16, generated the following ray ID: 71c58c8449ba19cf
Any ideas? I can't use a VPN on my office PCs, and we use a big corporate ISP (Lumen), so it seems strange that Cloudflare has completely blacklisted our IPs.

Please fix the Astrill servers that we use. This isn't a difficult task; all you need to do is get an Astrill account and try the top 50. I'm honestly shocked that you guys haven't delivered on this simple request.

And another train where Flyertalk is blocked!
Trying to access from Eurostar, got Error Code 1020, Ray ID 7269eade5c027300
Why does Flyertalk hate train wifi so much?

Its not that Flyertalk hates trains, it's that the IP addresses associated with users on that shared train WiFi have previously been up to no good, and the reputational score for those IP addresses has been ranked as poor.
Flyertalk subscribes to a service where they choose to deny access to IP addresses that are a known source of troublemakers. This is in part because the security posture of the forum software is quite poor and the ability to defend against spam postings, and DDoS attacks is limited. So by blocking IP addresses of a poor or bad reputation they are looking to preserve the uptime of the site. Of course determined attacks will still prevail but it makes it more complicated for attackers as they have to use IP addresses of a higher reputation, which usually means more expense.

Office is still blocked, with the following recent rays (all times EDT/GMT-4)
What's funny is that we pay more for this ISP to not look like it's associated with the government at all. Guess they do too well at that, and Cloudflare thinks it's a "bad guy" IP.
Would be nice if we could at least whitelist a subnet of it. Not a lot of FTers at the office (I only see 1 other person ever with an account from my IP there), but it's annoying to have to go to the lobby to use my phone to get to FT on days I am physically in the office.

Haven't been able to get around cloudflare for more than a month. A private corporate network with fewer than 100 ip addresses. We're not a big shop. Ironically, our tech overlords installed cloudflare last year. So we have cloudflare blocking... cloudflare.

Slowness in loading thread and "get stuck" when posting
Two issues I first noticed yesterday.
- It sometimes takes a very long time loading threads and the browser progress indicator "gets stuck" about halfway and doesn't resolve even after waiting several minutes. Opening a new browser tab and reloading the page works most of the time.
- When I post comments, the browser progress indicator sometimes "gets stuck" about halfway and doesn't resolve even after waiting several minutes. But if I open a new tab and open the thread, my reply has been posted even though the action doesn't complete in the first tab.
I have seen this using Firefox, Chrome, and Safari. Clearing cookies and cache doesn't resolve the issue. I have not seen this on any other website. My internet upload and download speeds are normal.

f you take the IP address you have at the hotel and check that it's not widely blacklisted by reputable companies, then it's possibly a manually loaded IP address block that Cloudfare did after FT/IB Admins/privileged actors loaded the IP address for blocking. Removing the block should be easy. That's what error 1020 suggests.
