All the pictures in my TRs are not being displayed anymore - even though it should be fine (they are still in the image host server etc.). Is this known/connected to this "upgrade"?

florens that's because postimg. org no longer exists as a domain. If you change the .org part to .cc your images will reappear.
|
Images can now be uploaded to FT and placed inline in posts by just clicking the "picture" icon in your edit box.

Good morning, IBobi. I've just opened, on desktop, PPRuNe NG ... www.pprune.org
What an attractive presentation, with clear separation between Sticky and Normal threads and shading behind the Thread page number indicators. Indeed, PPRuNe also seems to have addressed most of the concerns being expressed here at FlyerTalk. As you are Administrator for both websites, dare one hope that FT will be PPRuNed in a similar manner in the near future? |

IBobi, I haven't see this acknowledged as a problem or work in progress recently. Can you clarify if more is needed to help you understand what is happening?

I know in the past, some cosmetic issues were solved by Control/Shift+Refreshing or clearing cookies. Did either of those actions help?

Is the little picture icon to post images (see above where it looks like a postcard) no longer working? It did not long ago. Click on that & then it would take me to a part where I paste the url, or do the attachment. Now nothing happens. It looks like one has to go to advanced in order to do the same thing. If that's the case, what's the point of having the icon which we're all used to using for images? Am using Chrome on laptop, Win 7.
Cheers. Cheers. |

IBJoel, no - no effect. If you repro it on Win 10 / IE 11 do you not see this problem?

Are the issues in this thread still being worked on? It seems to be going the same way as https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/tech...g-reports.html where after a while we just got left with "as is" rather than continuing to work through the backlog.

Maybe what we should do is to start a wikipost here to list the unfixed bugs, of which there are still a significant number. |
Sorry, I haven't read this whole thread but I have two questions.
What's the difference between a 'quick reply' and a 'reply'? Also, using my iPad, I find when replying the current line I'm typing moves up so that I can't see it. I drag it down but it goes up again. What am I doing wrong? Thank you. |
