Okay, so the font sizes need to get bumped up a notch or two. Maybe to 14 pt. Not to 72 pt.

Yeah, they are on the small side now.

Impressive to see professionals at work.

Weird! I'll get this fixed ;)

The search function seems to be completely botched. I did several searches for threads/posts I know are here somewhere, but none came up even after scrolling through infinite pages in desperation of finding them. After that, I couldn't even find this feedback page -- I got the link from another forum which is managed by the same bunch. It's bad there, too, but this is an even worse implementation of this upgrade. I know forum boards are so last Century in the age of farcebook and tw@tter, but they still have their usefullness. This sort of stuff does not keep the loyal aboard.

I do have to ask you, even if it’s not your turf, why all this messing about was necessary in the first place.

Users of FT don’t generally care about ‘style’, they just want the dammned website to work properly. Please convey this user’s discontent to those responsible.

If the site style was as 3 months ago, 12 months ago or even better a decade ago it would be a lot better.
If it ain't broke don't fix it

Search seems to be working fine.

Give me an example of a search term and a thread that it should be pulling up and isn't?

Whoooooosh (waves hand over head from front to back whilst making a whooshing sound)

Underlines to indicate hyperlinks, like every other web site in existence, are gone again.

And the inquest into why everything broke again? When will that take place? :)

It won't matter. Everything will be fixed in June. They'll refresh it in July or August. And it'll all be broke again until November.

I totally agree! Here are some fantastic sites that are perfect exactly as they are. Great inspiration for FT to aspire to! https://gizmodo.com/5960831/23-ancie...re-still-alive

+1 or really +infinity. Links now look *exactly* like any other text. When you couple that with the behavior that a link to a thread is automatically given link-text that is the title of the thread (i.e. it is words and not something starting with "https") this makes it often impossible to even realize something might be a link unless you hover over it.

IB desperately needs someone in a management position who understands the importance of things like user experience and regression testing, and the will and political capital to enforce associated practices.
