Slowly coming back to life
that was a near death experience watching airline forums evaporate last night.
Good to see a little bit of functionality return, including my password working!
Good luck on the rebuild Dan.

Lost a couple of thousand posts and a few threads:
this one on Air Canada Aeroplan forum:
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/Forum5/HTML/009262.html
no longer has posts in it. You can still find it by using the search function to look for "H fare" on Air Canada Aeroplan but there is nothing to look at now.

Same problems as Blondebomber. My post count has gone back to the 8,000's and it was over 14,000 yesterday.
Also as he reports, the "Signature" line (below) has reverted back to one I have not used for a very long time.
Seems like the post and signature files have somehow reverted back to some place back in time for some (all?) users?

Someone on another Forum noted that if one posted WHILST FT was melting down (which took a while) this corruption of post count and signature occured.
Anyone who did not post in that time frame was unaffected it seems.

My post count should be up around the 1600 mark, ye it is showing here as about 535. My password (as I mentioned) is a password I abandoned several months ago.

My post count is down about 200 posts from before the crash. I don't care about the number, but am just hoping it doesn't mean that we lost thousands of posts from the FT records. Are the posts still around? Is it just the post count number that is wrong?
