I just got a pop-up from that darn "boost your PC speed" thing...

I thought this was a pop-up free site.

Yes, several pop-ups here too. Although I like to support FT I have turned on my popup killer after seeing a few of them.

Are you sure these are coming from flyertalk and not other browser windows?

I use IE6 and have never seen a pop-up from flyertalk.

They come from flyertalk, just set your mozilla to deny popups from that site :-) .

Same setup as Robb, but I got the attempted pop-up. But PopUp Stopper ( www.panicware.com ) killed it before it ever popped and had that satisfying crushing sound to boot

Are the ads popping up over your FT window, or are they staying behind your window? Our ad company is trying a popunder campaign for us...

Dan,

I don't know. PopUp Stopper killed it before it could pop.

I understand and fully appreciate the need for FT to have advertising. But I'd also glady pay a premium price for an ad-free version.

If anything, pop-under ads piss me off even more than pop-ups.

The popunders are set to only show once per user per day (per campaign). So, you shouldn't get too many...

FewMiles, why do you like popunders less than -overs?

Dan,

YEsterday I had about 6 of them all at once and they actually crashed my browser. Today I had less, but they are of the annoying click click variety. The speed and amount of them is annoying. Perhaps less in a session would be more reasonable?
