Yes, I'm a premium member.

Me too, except me no premium.

Painfully slow.

cblaisd Mar 28, 2006 4:26 pm

Back to normal for me now....

Kiwi Flyer Mar 28, 2006 4:31 pm

I was going to say back to normal on web2 but still painful on web1, but then this thread took a while to load.

tkey75 Mar 28, 2006 5:24 pm

It seems to happen once in a while. Maybe once a week. Sometines I wait a few minutes and things return to normal. Sometimes a little longer. Never too long, though

That's been pretty much my experience as well. The system seems to burp a few times a month but is back to normal in short order.
All's well for me as of now after a slow afternoon.

Intermittently VERY slow right now for me.

FT Slow?

Everything was fine until around 3:45PM CST, when FT seemed to be slow to load and refresh. I'm behing a proxy server here at work, but other sites load just fine.

Is there a problem on my end?

BTW, I'm on Firefox. ....... is the only extension enabled.

Tim at WebFlyer May 9, 2006 3:08 pm

We had one of the web servers down, causing the load to be all on one server. Things should be speedy now. Thanks,

PIT_Flyer May 9, 2006 5:51 pm

Thanks.

Also, I could have sworn that someone replied to my post. I believe it was clsbaid (sp?) a moderator, who reported the same problems. He was using Firefox, premium FT and ........

His post isn't in this thread and there is no indication of it being deleted.

What gives???

cblaisd May 9, 2006 11:08 pm

Sorry. I deleted it when I realized that it was timestamped much later than Tim's post and so was moot.

All three servers for the last 30 minutes have been sporadically slow to the point of being unusable (timeouts, 2-3 minute page load times, etc.).

FT Premium.

AZ_MISMAN Jun 27, 2006 11:44 am

Having problems, as well. I thought it was my proxy server, but doesn't appear to be a problem on other sites.

FT Premium

cblaisd Jun 27, 2006 10:44 pm

Right now (6:30 p.m., HST)

www.flyertalk.com is sporadically slow, halts page loads in midstream often
web1.flyertalk.com is unreachable
web2.flyertalk.com is the only sort-of consistent access, but even it burps occasionally.

Update 7:00pm

web2 is getting worse

Update 9:15pm

All addresses are terrible. Timeouts, very slow-loading, very inconsistent.

Hope these reports are helpful in diagnosing what's wrong....

(Just fyi, not having any problems with any other websites)

cblaisd Jun 28, 2006 8:02 pm

Anybody else???

Is it just me, or ???

While not as bad as last night, FT is still sclerotic.
