the main site and web1 seem to be a little slow at times today - long waits loading the main page. web2 is very fast right now.

Usually when this happens (www.flyertalk.com is down and web2.flyertalk.com works but doesn't load graphics) usually means web1.flyertalk.com has gone offline. The tech team should have it back up by Monday. Till then, just use web2.

Well what would YOU use to describe it? If web2 is fast, why wouldn't YOU call it "fast"? I honestly don't understand your post.

I can't get past the log in screen on this site...

The other is still malfunctioning, but it is malfunctioning very fast. :D
