Very slow for me also today. Takes about 10-15 seconds between pages for the screen just to change. Then about 5-10 more for it to load. All other sites work fine. Whats going on?

Some of the site is as slow as I have ever seen it (7:15pm PDT on Sunday night) short of simply timing out.

I have also had several people report to me that they can't connect at all.

This page takes about a minute or so to load.

OMNI pages are over a minute in loading.

The rest of the site is crawling only ever so slightly less slowly.

Curious: Does FT not get monitored by someone from Webflyer on call over the weekends?

7:40 PM PDT on Sunday and I am getting timeouts and extremely slow loading. This is the 3rd weekend in a row that I've had this problem. I e-mailed FT Tech Support 2 weeks ago and they replied that there were no known problems over that weekend. This is the only site giving me problems. Speedtest shows I'm downloading from the internet at 1.3 mbs so it's not my ISP.

The slow speed this weekend has evidently discouraged a lot of FT posters. The DL Forum is usually quite active on Sunday but today has been like a ghost town.

reason: one of the 2 servers is down. They shoul then, until the problem is fixed, use this other server

Nope that was is just as bad. Here's looking forward to a great Monday. Maybe with so many FT's out there we can locate some new servers or maybe just additional ones if that is the problem.

Sorry, Rudi, but that server is just as slow, maybe slower.

the link I posted above is helping people who can't access at all - it's the only server right now that works.

It's the only and same server everyone is right now connected to, so it is exactly (100%) as slow, I did never pretend anything else.

Again, one out of normally 2 servers is down, and that's probably not only the reason why some people can't get any connection (because their browser, like mine, automatically tries to get connections with the server that is down), but also the reason why it is so slow for anyone else.

I am still confident, that the tech folks at FlyerTalk can fix this fast, once they are back from their well deserved weekend.

One of the servers seems to really dislike the scripts that rotate the logs -- which has caused this latest hiccup -- sorry for the inconvenience it caused you all!

I've disabled the script in question until I can resolve whatever the problem is.

Thanks,
John

Yes, super slow indeed. Worried that it was just my connection.
