I was trying to reply to a thread earlier today (around 3:10 am) and it stayed in the send screen forever. So I opened another window to see if my reply was posted. It surely did! I recall seeing similar problems before. Mid-Feb was the worst. Unfortunately, there's no way to confirm your RBPs being sent or not. :( I think I am noticing a pattern. IIRC, the system would act out at the turn of each month for 3 months in a row, ESPECIALLY during the weekends (when crew wasn't attending, I assume). Sometimes it would go on for a day or two. Sometimes longer than a week. So far we had index out-of-sys in late Feb& late March/early April; slowness in early April. Maybe the IT folks should monitor the monthly scheduled maintenance more closely, especailly during the 1st & last weekends of each month, when the system fails to "auto-pilot". :p |
It's dragging tonight. I'm getting lots of timeouts.
Also, I'm getting responses to subscribed threads long after they are made. |

Painfully slow right now. I don't know if it is related but I had problems logging in - I would get the welcome logged in page and then revert to being logged out. Happened a few times before I managed to stay logged in.

Board slow and posts not registering
Board is being very slow. In addition, I'm seeing threads which have new posts added but which are not showing up on the front page of the forum.

Been slow for the past 3 hours.... and the chat session I was just in was deathly slow... took forever for the Java Chat window to open.

Speed back to normal again.

It resolved around 30-45 mins ago.
