Please accept my apologies for the incoveniences that you suffered while attempting to post in this area of FlyerTalk. I've made several test posts this morning and all seems to be well.

Another slight modification semingly produced this result:

"We cannot post this because the Forum Name being submitted does not match the forum name we have listed in our records. Use your back button to try again."

when I tried to post a response to the "Easyjet in talks to buy rival Go" thread in the "In The News: Miles and Points" forum.

Might be because i just changed the name of In The News, let me index everthign again and then try a little later. Good catch....

I went to reply to one of Doc's "In The News" threads and received exactly the same message he reports. Have posted in a few other Forums since and all is well, so Randy might have isolated the problem it seems?

Yes, as I indicated, it is likely the name change as it happened before.

Also, the very same problem now exists in the QUALIFIER threads:

American Airlines announced today that its new codeshare agreement with SWISS will add 20 new European destinations that can be reached conveniently via Zurich, further broadening American's already vast network. SWISS, the newly branded national airline of Switzerland, is one of Europe's largest carriers.

Beginning May 15, American will put its AA code on SWISS' eight daily trans-Atlantic flights between Switzerland and seven U.S. gateways, as well as on SWISS flights beyond Zurich to 20 new points in Europe. SWISS' U.S. gateways are Boston, New York-Kennedy, Newark, Washington, Chicago O'Hare, Miami and Los Angeles.
