Member Vs. Junior Member
Is there a difference between Member and Junior Member in WebFlyer? Curious like the
cat.
It was easier to become a member here than
getting into the National Honor Society in
High School!

It is based on how many times that you have posted on FlyerTalk. Are you enjoying the site?

Can't speak for Catman, but I am enjoying the site. I'm hoping that some of the airline marketing folks are finding it informative, too.

I'm enjoying the site also. If Member status is based on the number of posts, I'm wondering if we'll be receiving a threshold bonus anytime soon. sistertodd must already be a super platinum gold 1K executive member by now!!!

Great site and fun, too. Like MileKing,
sistertodd must be all the items mentioned
plus 10K diamond elite lifetime. By the way,
has anyone seen the good sister today?

Hey Catman, it looks like 30 posts is the
magic number. Are free lifetime upgrades
available? Or, is there a Sr. Member status?

To answer questions from MilesChick and others I am having a lot of fun on this site.
I've seen other "chat areas" and don't care
for the "dirt."
I didn't count how many posts I made and
Whether I'm a junior, senior, Triple Platnum
or Supreme Ultimate member I'm just glad to
know of this site. Just trying to be a better frequent flyer and get the most of
my travel.
Thanks for your support!

I'm glad that you all are enjoying the site! Let me answer a few questions for you...
-Yes, there are currently 2 levels, Junior Member and Member. Your status is based on the number of posings that you have made to the site.
-Yes, 30 is the magic number to become a "Member". We are also currently looking to see if we can establish a higher membership threshold for our mileage junkies which I think most of you are.
-No I have not seen the good sister??

I think the whole "status" thing of defining *member* vs. 'Junior Member' status (even though this status isn't linked to any other reward than *not* being labled 'Junior') is a *brilliant* way of encouraging Webflyer's users (a decidedly status-starved group ;-)) to post. Well done!
