Here's what we think is going on:
Whatever Forum you start an OMNI thread in (be it FT Miles, FT Travel, FT Airports, or FT Dining) is the Forum that "owns" it from then on. This is regardless of where you post a reply from. So, if I start an OMNI thread in FT Travel, and you view it from FT Miles, and even reply to it from there, you'll still end up in Travel's OMNI.
This is a side-effect if using a single OMNI across multiple Forums... When UBB starts a thread, it creates an HTML template based on the Forum you started in. This template wraps around the actual post content and stays with it from then on. There may be a chance that when we update threads across all the boards (which we haven't done too much lately, due to the increase in performance) that the ownership will change, but I doubt it. Of course, the next time we update, we'll see...

OK, that's what I thought originally. Thanks. But one of the threads where this was happening was one that I started, and I am almost 100% certain that I started it in Miles, because I rarely if ever access FT from Travel. I'll be more careful next time.

Agreed. FWIW, I too have seen cases where the thread was seemingly started in MilesBuzz orignally - and yet a 'transfer' to Travel occurs. There are also several threads that do the same thing regarding "revealing" thread numers (1,2,3) such as:

as far as the misnumbered thread listings (showing two pages when there are actually three, etc.)...
That could be caused by posting a reply to an OMNI thread from a different Forum than you're seeing the listing in, which isn't spurring your Forum to update its thread count. In other words, if I reply to a thread from FT Travel, FT Miles isn't going to know there's been a thread update until someone posts to that same thread from FT Miles. Each Forum uses its own thread index script...
