Hi everyone,

We have been seeing periodic database errors for a couple of weeks now and our tech department hasn't been able to lock them down yet.

I'll update the thread when I hear news, thank you for hanging in there.

Paul

According to tech, "All issues are resolved as of this morning."

So if you still see the slowness/db errors, please let us know.

Thanks for your patience!

You vastly overrate the # of folk going to the Premium Fares subforum compared to other forums on FT - ie, I seriously doubt that's what took FT down over the weekend

FWIW - FT seems to be operating fine now. Of course that doesn't preclude some folk making really stoo-pid remarks in some of the airline/hotel forums

Cheers.

Still slow as all heck for me. Seems to work better when I turn off Flash, which makes me suspect a rogue ad causing a memory leak or something.

I tend to load several threads, each in its own tab. With javascript turned on, it takes the tabs almost 10 times longer to load. It's a nuisance to turn javascript off and on, but leaving it on just costs too much time.

I went into my Chrome settings and added FT to the list of sites where Javascript is explicitly blocked. Browsing seems slightly faster, but still slower than I remember previously.

And for some reason, the mobile site will no longer load at all on my phone (Android 6.0, Chrome 55.0.2883.91).

That's because most of site functionality relies on javascript, including mobile device detection.

But...with javascript blocked on my laptop, the site seems to load/operate just fine (and is much faster than with javascript enabled).

I have not changed any of the settings on my phone. The site simply won't load unless I let it sit there for 2-3 minutes with the screen on.
