1. Variety of redemption opportunities means that discussion of the value of different options (e.g. UR to BA to IB) is beneficial to members. We hate missing the best deal because we didn't know about it.
2. Tightening rules on transfers constitute a moving target, better tracked in a dedicated forum.
3. UR discussion is of little interest to people not holding UR-earning cards.
4. There is a critical mass of UR discussion.

Yes to Chase Ultimate Rewards Forum
Yes to the idea of a Chase Ultimate Rewards Forum. There are a lot of nuances to this program. For example, I did not know that this program had excellent prices on paid car rentals until I read it online

Im very happy to see most proposals pass. Thx to TB^

I would really value a UR forum. Accumulating UR's through the rewards mall, sign up bonuses, spending bonuses, etc. are key to my traveling strategy. They are extremely valuable, but it can be challenging to keep up with the best ways to collect and redeem them. A forum would help.
It surprises me that there is a forum for Amex MR's and not for Chase UR's, as UR's seem to be much more useful. At the last Chicago Seminars, as an example, UR's were the primary topic of conversation. There were many, many more ideas given for UR's vs. MR's.
I think there is huge interest in further UR discussions, and it would be nice to have those conversations here.

Chase UR and the opportunity for earning and using points fit nicely into travel plans and patterns.
My expectation is that the earning opportunities will only continue to grow as competition heats up to become premium credit card of choice.
I say yes. Why wouldn't we want to have a forum for advising members of earning and redeeming possibilities on a travel related card?

in response to MSPeconomist, i don't know the difference between a "forum" and a "sub-forum" beyond my general expectation that a chase forum would be classified under "credit card programs" so please don't assume i meant anything specific.
