I seem to recall that the mini paper napkins had a Swiss logo on them. Now it is just a plain variety. Where is the corporate identity?! 😅

Did anyone test the Zurich style veal and Rsti in the F lounge in the last days, any improvements to the dish back to standards from before DoN?

I would have but since DoN, they are unable (or unwilling?) to create it without mushrooms. Apparently the sauce is pre-cooked and quickly making the sauce from scratch is no longer an option. Was never a problem before DoN.

That is terrible, i used to watch them make the entire Meal in the FCLA open Kitchen, what are the Chefs doing now, just opening packets ?

Last week, someone was asking if they had any fresh vegetables and he was quite confused that they only had steamed available.

Who cares about Swiss reputation when you're sitting in Cologne and can report those sweet, sweet savings to your boss....

The catering you would expect in a First Class Lounge is highest quality ingredients freshly prepared, something that Gate Gourmet complied with. Obviously when you decide to go "premium" but confuse it with "discounter" you end up with DoN that is signigficantly cheaper and obviously they will need to save on the ingredients and focus not on freshly prepared but more on pre packaged items. Good job Heike and co, you once again redefined the meaning of "premium".

Sounds like when Kaefer took over the FRA FCLs. They got meals pre-cooked off-site and were unable to customize.

Probably going to rename the Alpine Lounge with something like "generic lounge" soon.

I realized last friday that the food was the same then 3 weeks ago which i fins unacceptable, they used to changed it every 10 days

Was told from an experienced lounge lady in ZRH that in the beginning they were excited by the new quality, but that lasted only a few days. Now always big disappointments reported. One remark was we dont need Austria to supply our Swiss lounges.
The Zurich veal is very different from the old times. But she told me they finally changed back to veal filet now, which should improve it.
