Mine showed up under "My Earned Awards" . The eligible stay dates say 10/31/2014 to 12/31/2015. The book by date is 12/31/2015.

Hi everyone, I was lucky enough to have the chance to earn 2 Free Nights last year and just tried to redeem one of those nights.
However the operator told me that it would not be possible as "standard" rooms were not available. However on the hotel website, the lowest tier rooms are still available. I was wondering why I am not able to redeem my award in such a scenario.
Is there a maximum number of rooms a hotel can give out on an award? Also, it is actually possible to redeem using only points right now, instead of using the award night.
Appreciate if someone could enlighten me please.

I have a question about the 25% off award redemption. Does anyone know if this can be combined with the fifth night free award? The T&Cs for the promotion are somewhat vague and I'm wondering if anyone has had any experience with booking this reward.

I also have a question about the 25% off award redemption...is there a cap on the number of nights that can be booked using this discount? Also, is my assumption correct that I cannot reserve more than one room per reservation when using Starpoints, thus I cannot use this award to cover two rooms at the same property during the exact same dates, correct?
