For those of you who received the free nights offer, any data on how quickly after your second stay you will receive the award, and how is the award acknowledged (do you get an email from SPG, does it show up when you log onto SPG.com, etc.)?

I thought I got and signed up for the 2000 points every 2 stay offer and had 2 stays in December. No points posted yet. How long does it take for it to happen?

When does the promotion end?

Bonus Starpoints will be credited to the member's account within 2–4 weeks of the stay posting to the member's Starwood Preferred Guest account following the first and second eligible stays.

Lurkers, is there any way to track how many stays and nights I have already? I've seen one set of points posted, but would like to see how close I am to the next 5k...

My best advice will be to call customer service to track how many stays and nights you have completed towards the promotion.

I've already completed the requirements for the promo.

1. Will there be a redemption code or certificate issued?
2. Assuming the answer is yes, when will I receive the code/cert.?
3. Will this be bookable online or will I need to call?

These will be added to your "My Earned Awards", which can be seen online when you are logged in. IIRC, the terms said to allow up to 4 weeks following the completion of the promotion requirements. You would need to call the SPG customer service center nearest you to redeem.

I got the "25% off an award stay after 6 stays" offer. How soon does it need to be redeemed and are there both "book by" dates and "travel by" dates or just one or the other?

According to the Terms and Conditions of the offer "Eligible member must register by January 31, 2015, 11:59 p.m. EDT. Member can save 25% on a future StarpointsŪ redemption after their sixth (6th) eligible paid stay between December 1, 2014, through March 1, 2015 (the "promotion period"). "
