how to get rid of *a software?

Every time I reboot my computer, I get a "Downoad *A files?" prompt, to which I reply, "No." Then, I'm greeting by an installer window for the *A timetable.

This evening, I attempted to unistall all because, as much as I like having such info handy, I really don't like being harrassed at start-up.

But, it's still there. I appreciate your advice.

PS - I didn't search before posting because the seem to update their software on a more frequent basis than this forum gets action.

You may have to uninstall the "Star Alliance Auto Update Conduit" as well, if you're doing this from the Windows Control Panel. (Haven't tried this myself, though.) If you know someone who's a PC guru, taking out the StarUpdater entry from the Registry using RegEdt32 (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\CurrentVers ion\Run) should do the same thing, but dabbling with the Registry Editor should only be done by someone who knows what they are doing.

Looked into this a bit further & found that there was a StarUpdater application in the Startup group in the "Start - Programs" menu. You can try just right-clicking the entry & then (left-)clicking Delete.
