On Singapore Airlines, what kind of fare class is Z ? When looking for flights I get results like the one below, which seem to indicate that Z is a first class fare? Anyone know?

A C | D E F | H K |
Thank you KVS! That is good advice, didn't realize I could use the Amadeus seat map to check which cabin a fare class books into.
So, is Z the highest fare class in business class? Otherwise how do I explain that it was the class with the highest availability. Most airlines I am familiar with use Z as deep discount business class. Thanks again. |

E Class
SAA are now using E for upgades from economy to business (as my last two upgrades). I think UA are also using E instead of I.

Air Canada Booking Class Realignment
Air Canada is now:

Is CO, Continental Airline missing here, wish someone can add later.
Just booked T-class ticket on CO. |
I'm trying to find a thread that shows miles earned for respective airlines, COC bonus etc.
I'm using ANA ticket stock to get back and forth to BKK ex YVR. First flight was Jan 01 and I received a pleasant surprise to see I earned a 25% COS Bonus on the ANA operated flight and 50% COS on the AC operated portion (NRT-YVR). The bonuses all counted as Status Miles. I fly the return portion next week, it is AC to NRT then UA to BKK. I need to nook my next return ticket within a couple of days. The choice of operators are AC, TG, UA and ANA. AC is a given for YVR-NRT as I like their product and the 50% COS, but I am curious what I earn on UA and TG for COS. |

Assuming that you intend to credit the flights to Aeroplan, AC flights would get you 50% COS in business class (J fare only), discounted business class fares booked in C, D & Z earn 25% COS. UA earns 25% COS in booking class C, D & N but 0% COS in Z. TG earns 25% COS in all business class booking classes. See aeroplan.com for more info regarding the earning on each carrier. |

The ticket stock you are using is irrelevant, it's the operating carrier and the booking class that matters.

Thanks for supplying the info. As with most things on FT (& in life) it works best when people work together to help rather than relying on an individual. |
