According to the article in Korean Newspaper,
( http://news.airportal.go.kr/newshome...(I)&regionkey= )
OZ does op-op when economy is full.

Priority is
OZ Platinum/Diamond -> *G -> OZ Gold -> *S.

Also, UA' priority order might be as follow;
UA GS/1K/1P -> *G -> UA 2P -> *S
( http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=328066 )

How about op-up of other * airlines ?

Can you use a SWU to upgrade a LH purchased but UA operated flight?

Example: SFO-FRA-BHX where SFO-FRA is UA? Can I sponsor this online for a friend as well?

Thanks.

Does anyone have a link to the current thread on UA Mileage Upgrades on *A? I realize that it was suspended, but can't find the discussion.

No personal experience, but from what I have read, yes, you can use a UA SWU to upgrade a code share flight operated by UA. However, as I understand it, these are day of flight only upgrades, which sort of reduces one of the big benefits of SWU certs.

US Dividend Miles on UA , international

I read a lot , but, Can my US Dividend Miles be used to upgrade on a United international flight to Europe. How about if the flight is on LH metal?

If no , any suggestions where the Dividend miles would be welcome?

Can I use SWU on Z LH Fare?

I know UA does not allow Bus to First upgrade on Z, but does LH allow me to use (standby basis, of course) SWU to upgrade Z to F? LH metal, of course.

--edit: found the answer. Yes.

I'm afraid that BD miles cannot be used for upgrades on any airline (including BD)

Any advice - Systemwide upgrade on S class ticket

Have several Systemwides due to expire at end of year, so booked flights to London over Thanksgiving. UAL came out with a Fall holiday sale, got a nice ticket (SFO <-> LHR nonstop for $750). Tried to use my systemwides, said not eligible.

Anyone have any advice?

My advice would be:

i) Buy an appropriate upgradeable fare class.
ii) Do not cross post (against the FT TOS).
