SLC--RNO...A20...plane was full of thru pax, so no exit rows, front rows all taken. Funny story, I got an aisle and the guy who took the window put his bag on the middle seat so nobody would sit beside him..benefited me too..this turned out to be the last open seat. What a nerve!

3/5/2010 130P PHX-MKE, almost full flight
Purchased EB at T-28, got A-60.
Not sure it was worth buying. Usually pretty good at checking in at T-24, but knew I'd be busy this time. Got an aisle exit row seat though.

Purchased EB 7-days before March 19th, MCO-OKC with connection in MSY and stop in HOU for my wife (WGA fare), my 5-year old daughter (my CP), and me (WGA fare) (EB purchased in the reverse order for 3 separate PNRs). This was our return flight from trip to WDW and since we would be at the Parks at T-24:00:00 and it is MCO at spring break, it was well worth the investment. Both flights were completely full.
WN 834 (MCO-MSY) - me A31, daughter A32, wife A33. Arrived at MCO WN ticket counter line 1.75 hours before flight and waited 0.5 hour to check-in (when will people ever notice that kiosks are empty and step up without direction?). Security was massively backed up and took 0.75 hours to get through, which after the train allowed us to step up to gate long enough for me to gate check car seat, and wife and daughter to use restroom before boarding started. A1-A30 had a lot of empty slots as it looked like most were caught back at security, nevertheless the flight went out on time with all seats full. However, it looked like a lot of families were not sitting together, a couple of requests to relocate due to little ones not being near a parent. One man with an under-15 son (approx 12) had sat in the exit row; however, when found to be under age, only the son was relocated as the father did not want to give up his leg room.
WN 2561 (MSY-HOU-OKC) - me A28, daughter A29, wife A30. Saw a lot of familiar faces from the MCO-MSY flight, many continuing all the way to OKC with us. Before boarding, it was a mass move to the front of the plane by all the through pax, except my family as we were comfortable in row 9.
All-in-all, EB was the best $30 spent coming out of MCO at spring break.

Nice write-up. ^

EBCI performance very unimpressive.
OAK-MDW, Saturday-
EBCI: A27
T-24: A38,A39
MDW-MCO, Saturday -
EBCI: A20
T-24 (actually T-29 due to connection ): A21, A22
So basically no value to EBCI on Orlando flight, which was the one of concern due to spring break crowds. Though I guess $10 isn't too horrendous for peace of mind.
Addendum: Even worse than I thought - originating flight was 1 hour late, so we ended being among the last to board our connection - will be submitting a refund request to Southwest. Don't sell it if you can't guarantee delivery.
