Disappointed in the fares released today as well. Lowest fare buckets for my normal flights (DTW-BWI and ATL-BWI/DCA) to the DC area on Mondays and back on Thursdays are over 30% higher than they were on the last schedule release date - For example ATL-DCA was $92 now $135OW on release day. If it weren't for the no change fees and the ability to reprice when/if the price falls I'd be moving to DL.

Yes but I have also had them double in price, it is the gamble of buying airfare.

Just went to look up this info and found it's been the next schedule extension has been delayed until to August 8th.

Not surprised considering the latest MAX news.

Looks like Southwest pushed back the schedule extension to August 15th now. At this rate I'm hoping to book my mid-January trip by Xmas.

So they will be down to a 4-1/2 month schedule by early August. That’s something.

Wow! I didn't see it yet! I did not go on the entire website. I thought they change the schedule extension is on July 10.

It was July 10th until sometime in the last week or so and they moved it to mid-August. As someone looking to fly my family from MCO-IND on MLK weekend I'm wondering if this prolonging of the schedule extension helps or hurts me. I am hoping to grab the flights immediately when they open if "reasonable".

Off topic a bit, but on days when SW extends the schedule, what time do they do that? Midnight or sometime more reasonable? Thanks!

My bet is no expansion anywhere until MAX can be scheduled again.

There will definitely be some expansion in this release, including likely a few more Hawaii flights, but obviously less than if MAX weren't grounded.

Southwest can't afford to wait. They'll just cut more under-performing routes.

I've seen plenty of LIH jobs being advertised recently. I definitely think LIH inter-island service will be announced tomorrow. Hopefully starts by late October since i would love to hop over to HNL for the day.
