Both of my 1/1/18 cards posted this morning (including bonus) with a 1/1/18 activity date. My CP is now active through 12/31/19.

Bumping this thread as it's still relevant. Anyone have a new batch of data points for this year?
Statement close date for both business and personal was 1/5/19. Both statements show bonus points being sent to Southwest. Neither have posted yet (including the points from just regular activity).
I have a flight on 1/25 and am pretty sure I'll be okay to add the companion pass, but getting impatient!
I'll be sure to update once mine post. Anyone else get theirs yet?

It's shocking how many FTers still choose to live dangerously, spending the entire amount in December depending on Chase to print the statement on January 1 or 2 rather than in December. Every year this backfires on a few people, a fact which should be very well known. When it fails, there is no recourse. The risk/reward ratio is terrible for this tactic.

My statement closed 1/5/19. In the past, points posted within 2 or 3 days of closing date. They haven't posted yet. I emailed customer service yesterday and got a reply saying points will post within 30 days of statement closing. It sounds like a new policy to me, but maybe that's always been the policy and they just posted a lot sooner. I also noticed in an obscure place on the website that they are doing year end account maintenance and that that would delay points posting until maintenance done, which could be weeks.
