Seems pretty clear to me.

Would be to everyone if the airline put it in an accessible format.

What possible reason would they have to keep it secret?

I received the promo for A-List status. I have been the last 'elite' in line each flight, so the promo shouldn't be effecting other, non-promo elites.

That may be true, but I think your sample is too small to prove it. Were your fares all WGA? Perhaps an AT fare would rank higher.

Without it being stated publically, and the best reference being a customer service message from 5 years ago, it's possible that the algorithm has changed, perhaps more than once.

All WGA fares. I do agree it's a small sample but I like to think WN has some sense by putting these "promo-elites" last.

The real test will be once I become a true A-Lister after my flight tomorrow. I'll report back in mid April if and when I can sneak some peaks at other boarding passes while in line!

Yes, it is definitely known. BS, then A+, then A, then EB, then the rest.

What is not known with certainty is how those within A+ and A get their boarding position in relation to their peers.

How is this definitely known?

I fly WGA RR redemptions as an A+ often--even on Monday mornings and Thursday afternoons with all the other business travelers. I know I'm only an n=1, but I get A16 at least 50% and >A20 99% of the time. I also fly A TON of full fare BS. Maybe that's a big driver of why my boarding positions are so high?

You like to doubt me.

It is definitely known by those with ALP. Pretty much common knowledge by those that fly WN frequently. Also proved by the link earlier posted.
