It was mistakenly re-opened September 2015 due to a false rumor that Southwest had eliminated the "open to all" award search functionality in a website overhaul.

Or should I just go ahead and transfer the UR points to SW points first, then to airtran, then back to 16 SW rapid rewards each?
Once you have 16 Southwest credits, you will receive a standard award can view and book RR1.0 award tickets. The award expires one year from when it is issued. 1 standard award (16 credits) is good for 2 one-ways. With only 2 credits, you will will not have an award and thus will not be able to view and book award tickets.Originally Posted by drgrac3134
Thanks via amtrak! How do I see what is available? My wife and I each have two airtran credits. We are planning on Vegas in sept on SW. Should I transfer the two airtran points into my southwest account now? Will that let me see what standard awards are available? I plan to transfer the needed SW points from my Chase UR account to get the remaining credits. Or should I just go ahead and transfer the UR points to SW points first, then to airtran, then back to 16 SW rapid rewards each?

We ended up opting for the early flight back on Friday. Bad news is I was booked two award flights for the same trip and the outbound flight wasn't available after I booked the first one. So I ended up having to get it with points and keep my 1/2 SA ... will definitely be able to use it before next year, so no worries ... and I can check my own availability

Thanks!
