Asante Rewards

I am Asande gold member so I have Sky Elite Plus Tier as they told me in Kenya Airways and I wonder if KLM will accept my status on their flights.
Kenya Airways does not provide yet any membership card no physical or digital card, they have only membership number.
Does anyone know if KLM accept Asante rewards status only by membership number or at all?

Did you try it out in the meantime? I have a flight with Air Europa tomorrow and couldn't add my Asante number online. I doubt it will work at the airport. Has anyone succeeded yet?

Short update: did the online check-in with Air Europa and selected Flying Blue (Kenya Airways) as programme. I introduced my Asante number and it got recognised as frequent traveller. The boarding pass says SkyPriority and an extra bag was added automatically to my allowance. Quite impressed!

Did KQ*G work with China Eastern? Have some flights with them coming up.

Answering myself: I could not add my Asante Gold# during online check in and also not at the check in desk at ICN.

I did get into the lounges at ICN and PVG anyway.
SPN Lifer likes this.

Does anyone know if 25 flights with SkyTeam are enough to maintain Gold status after the status match, or is it actually 30 flights? I've contacted Asante four times in the past six months about this but never received a response.

Has anyone received an answer yet or has any idea how to best contact Asante Rewards? I never get any response when I write to [email protected], [email protected], or via WhatsApp.

Hi rava.stuff & Eason359,

When you added your KQ# to UX, did it show up as "KQ" or "QK"? Mine is showing as "QK xxxxxx" and it seems like STE+ has not been recognised (no seat selection and no extra baggage"

Thank you!

Had the UX whatsapp team add the re-add the KQ# for me and it's now shows properly (KQ v QK) and has ELIP.

Wonder if there will be a freebie extension this year.

I want to share my frustrating experience with Kenya Airways' Asante frequent flyer program to warn others. Despite completing enough flights for mainting Gold Status, a significant portion of which were operated by KLM, these flights were not credited to my account, resulting in the loss of my Gold status. I’ve tried contacting Kenya Airways nearly 10 times through various channels, including their customer service and management, but I haven’t received a single response or even an acknowledgment of receipt. It looks like I’m being blocked without getting any response

When I reached out to KLM, they informed me that the miles had already been allocated to Kenya Airways, yet they never appeared in my account. The lack of communication and resolution from Kenya Airways is extremely concerning.

I strongly advise anyone considering relying on the Asante program to proceed with caution.
