Skyteam complaint, where to?
I'm a loyal Skyteam elite plus member. I recently flew for the first time with Aeroflot, and what a nightmare it was!!!
We booked a trip with 4 legs, 1 leg was scheduled at 8:05 PM, the plane left at 7:05 PM. No warning or information, or anything. All foreign passengers on board were affected. Russian passengers seemed to have been informed somehow.
As an elite plus (Flying Blue Gold) member I was refused access to the lounge, was refused access to the priority check-in line, was refused priority boarding (they didn't even call business class passengers first ...), was denied choosing seats at check-in time (these are your seats, we don't care to change your seats to other seats available in the plane), was denied to choose seats ahead (at time of booking the flight) and was forced to pay 1 kg extra luggage (21 kg total). This is officially the worst and most disrespectful airline on the planet. Such behavior would not even be acceptable for non elite passengers.
Since they don't care, I would like to contact Skyteam directly to tell them about the complete lack of respect from one of their member airlines. I couldn't find an email address or phone number. Does anyone know how to file a complaint at Skyteam?

I had similar issues a couple of months back. They did not allow lounge access at JFK, and similarly refused Skyteam benefits elsewhere (lounge access was available in SVO after some running around that involved getting first one and then a second cert. issued as the stopover was longer!). Complaint to Aeroflot yielded nada.

I would say you complain to the airline that operates the FFP with whom you hold Elite Plus status, and then they will forward the issue to the people who, within this airline, deal with SkyTeam issues.

Well, in Qatar the lady at the check-in counter stamped lounge access status based on Skyteam alliance gold elite status on an international itinerary. When I was at the security line she came running, snatched the boarding card and tore it off, and gave me another one that denied the lounge access. A couple of others in the line were amused that this lady would run all the way from the counter to do that!
