Sixt Chicago

Has anyone rented from Sixt in Chicago, particularly at O'Hare? How was your experience? Did the app let you choose a car and go, or did you have to wait in line, argue with an agent about insurance, etc? Did anyone do a one-way, and how was it?

Sixt ORD Labor Day weekend

Reserved XCAR (BMW 5 series), received BMW 540i xDrive with 25k miles. Car was loaded with the Driver Assist package, & Excutive package. Car drove itself on the highway (had to grab the steering wheel every few seconds though), & also parked itself. 540i had noticeably more power (0-60 in 4.4 seconds) than the 530i.
Was offered a X5 for an additional $20 per day, or a X7 for an additional $90 per day (I didn't attempt to negotiate though). There was also a BMW X5 M60 on the lot. Upon return, there was a Mercedes Benz AMG GLC 43, and a MB G Class

Rented at ORD today.

As a plat I received an email instructing me to go straight to key pick up which I did.

I apparently didnt understand their 30 minute rule as I showed up an hour early.

Annoyed that they wouldnt give me a car until 30 minutes prior to my booked time I asked if there was anything they could do so they changed my arrival time to 1 hour earlier.

What they didnt tell me was that that would adjust my rate to the walk up rate so was shocked that the amount billed to my card was $300 more than quoted and my car class was downgraded.

The manager fixed the car class but couldnt get my old rate back.

Seriously frustrating.

Nope. Sorted it all out but took over an hour to do so.
