Rented at ORD today.
As a plat I received an email instructing me to go straight to key pick up which I did.
I apparently didn’t understand their 30 minute rule as I showed up an hour early.
Annoyed that they wouldn’t give me a car until 30 minutes prior to my booked time I asked if there was anything they could do so they changed my arrival time to 1 hour earlier.
What they didn’t tell me was that that would adjust my rate to the walk up rate so was shocked that the amount billed to my card was $300 more than quoted and my car class was downgraded.
The manager fixed the car class but couldnt get my old rate back.
Seriously frustrating.
