Hey guys, this is more a general question, I'm under the impression that the courtesy time for pickup is now 30 mins instead of 60? I imagine that adding the flight number makes no difference...
I'm really disappointed they've decided to make this change... My previous experiences where I've deviated from the pick up time they just changed pick up to when i actually pick up |

Is this really something that could cause a problem? When arriving in the U.S for example customs/imigration can take hours, how can I know the exact time +-30min when i will pick up the car. I usually put 1 hour after scheduled arrival as pick up time and input flight nr. But what if there's delays , can they cancel my reservation if I'm to late ?
My previous experiences where I've deviated from the pick up time they just changed pick up to when i actually pick up This is one of the emails I've received from Sixt USA. They say 30, on Twitter 60... Thank you for your email. After review, we will only be able to hold a booking up to 30 minutes. Can you please what time you are looking to pick-up your booking? We look forward to your reply. Best regards, |

so I was there on sunday i had a white !! Escalade ESV with 17.000 miles on the clock giant car I saw a black X7 that dropped off when I took off and on delivery I walked through the lot and there was a new white X7 parked there and another couple of white Escalades no GLS in sight i had no choice on pick up - only one in the lot many GLE and GLC and even the brand new GLB was there also many Jeep Gladiators !!! New favorite car I even managed to get a look at their 1 year old inventory list Can’t post it though - must have 5 bulletins first 😩🤷♂️ |
I rented a Chevy Suburban 2 weeks ago from this location. They offered me an upgrade to a Cadillac Escalade for $150 but I declined. The Suburban they gave me was brand new...4 miles on the odometer. It was a great vehicle for 2 adults, 3 kids and luggage. It had plenty of charging ports so their phones kept them busy in LA traffic. Pickup and dropoff was a breeze and I like their building as everything is stored inside. I dropped it off with 615 miles on it so it is well worked in now :)

Couple questions: looking to rent from Sixt here in a couple weeks in Los Angeles. Have read through this thread and saw some suggest Beverly hills or Downtown location instead of airport. My question is I'm hoping for a BMW X7, would be fine with Escalade if I had too so looking at booking XFAZ. Would I be more likely to get the X7 if i went with one of those locations since they're cheaper or better off at LAX?
If I could not get those would probably just look at getting the range rover guaranteed but not certain about that. |
I have a car reserved at Sixt LAX this Friday, but also have a back-up reservation at Hertz. Two questions related to this:
1) I just got an e-mail asking me to do the "online check-in". If I do this check-in, will I still be able to cancel the reservation? 2) Do I have to do the online check-in to be able to see in the app what car I have been assigned? |
Hello
I have booked an XFAR (Velar or Similar) from Beverley Hills through SIXT and wondered what car I was likely get? I have heard it may be an XC90 but would rather avoid that if possible... Thanks |

Sorry I can't answer your question, but I would also be curious about this!

The SIXT app use to let you choose specific vehicles 30 mins before scheduled pick up. Now it seems like it no longer lets you do this.
