I did this successfully recently on NRT-SIN. I didn’t think it would work but it did - the boarding pass did not list any FF# at all . Rather it only had ‘SQ KFly’ . I was concerned the agent didn’t do this right, but as it turned out I got the PPS credit and my miles went to AS. Will be trying again this weekend on SIN-SFO.
