What is considered a long haul flight? Is IAH-MAN considered long haul? If it is how do we get one? Do we just ask a FA? My 11-year old will be flying in J with me this summer. It would be nice if she could get one.

I don't think that it is the case or that they care. We (2 adults 
) got one on our latest SQ flight. On my next flight I will ask for one for my elderly mom as a souvenir for her first ever SQ flight, which she got as a gift for a milestone birthday.
