Sorry, I bought LH's teddy's and those are much nicer than SQ's.

Yes, Seat 1C on the 77W. FA put them there after making up the bed.

I had 1A for sitting 1C for sleeping.

SQ has bears for sale and also the cute ones given out at various times & often placed at the ' bar ' on long hauls ..

For takeoff and landing, they seem to like the shelf by the window so that they can look out, of course in FC/Suites.

I ask my FA or purser for the bears and I'm usually offered two, often in different colors. This is long haul FC or J/C. No SQ status and not even *A status when I started asking.

You wouldn't believe what those bears do when the lights go out! ^

I heard if it's your birthday and you get a good set of crew, they'll bring out the cake a long with a teddy or two to make it a truly memorable celebration.

Get a slightly less hardworking crew and they'll bring you a white box with a cake inside packed in a krisshop bag after landing, on a 10 hour flight in J

I've received the "discontinued" comment also, though staff has always come up with a couple for me when asked on long-haul FC. Recent varieties are more cuddly than they were a few years ago. As airplane memorabilia goes, I find them top notch.
