I heard if it's your birthday and you get a good set of crew, they'll bring out the cake a long with a teddy or two to make it a truly memorable celebration.
Get a slightly less hardworking crew and they'll bring you a white box with a cake inside packed in a krisshop bag after landing, on a 10 hour flight in J (speaking from experience)

I've received the "discontinued" comment also, though staff has always come up with a couple for me when asked on long-haul FC. Recent varieties are more cuddly than they were a few years ago. As airplane memorabilia goes, I find them top notch.
