any idea when is the best time to call? been on hold for over 30 mins, and did not get through!

Anyone has any idea on when is the usual time for all the waitlist to clear? Normal award has availability and still on waitlist for saver. T-7 days to wait listed flight.

I have already waitlisted SIN-HND on SQ636 on the 18 December.
However seeing that this flight is not available for any kind of redemption now, does this mean that my waitlist will not be cleared? I am also on saver waitlist on SQ632 on the 19th December.
In any case i already have a confirmed redemption on OZ, just that if possible i will prefer a direct flight instead.

do they release award flight on weekend? i mean clear the waitlist? or the department does not work on weekend?

Has anyone had any experience with trying to book a saver award , when the flight is "not available" and then changing to "wait list" or "available"?
