Side question: How does Citi know that a transaction is an online one (e.g. if the merchant code indicates "Clothing, accessories, and shoes")?

Why not use the DBS WW card with eg FEVO to enable 4miles/$ for any transactions? Of course limited to $2k/mth spending only for this case.
It seems as a definite 4miles for your first 2k spending. In addition can be used as ez link as well. |
Regarding the Citbank Rewards Card, it says online spending qualifies for the 10x pts. Reading the T&Cs says
Online shopping merchants includes only shopping websites that sells clothes, shoes and bags as its main business activity |

Just to double confirm for DBS Altitude Expedia promotion (8miles/$1 for transactions > $2500), there are no restrictions on any particular airline to book etc right?
I will book a Flight + Hotel package to Perth for my family which includes flying there by Scoot. Total cost about $3000++ (=approx 24k miles or more) |

Can't see any restrictions on this promo though. |

Thanks for the heads-up. Just double checking with you guys before I make the booking as the t&c do not state any airline exclusions
DBS Points shall not be awarded for AXS and Sam online/ibanking bill payment transactions, and EZ-Reload (Auto Top-Up) transactions. |

Seems as though fevo isn't a popular card for obtaining/maximising the miles earn rate here.
Anyone using it? |

I was using the KrisFlyer Gold AMEX for local spend up to $12K recently. Circa 2.x pts per SGD$1 spent.
The advantage of the KrisFlyer Gold card to the Asend AMEX is your don't need to pay the annual fee if you have the Platinum Credit Card(which also has no annual fee). I've stopped using this card after spending $12K. I was to call and ask to change to the Asend as I heard it was free to change. (Probably will not get the new joiner offers but will get the voucher(?)). But when I called today, amex said they're revamping the points scheme and wont be issuing new SQ related credit card till May. I guess for the better? Because their cards are uncompetitive points wise after the welcome offers. |
