Post your Super Elite S100K 2020/21 Benefit Year Qualification/Requalification Here!

Well, because there will be a thread, and someone has to start it.

I realized this as I started booking some flgihts into March next year, and realized my e-upgrades arent yet here to hold them.

Plus too, as I top out at about 200,000 miles for the year and had a bunch i didn't do on AC, realizing that I will probably be in the same boat next year, because there is little loyalty after 100k.

In 2018, I qualified SE in June.

I have trouble enough processing the thought that 2019 is mere weeks away.

Having said that, the idea of skipping an entire year of flying sounds good, so sure, let's live in 2020.

Skipping an entire year of flying also sounds good when one is an MMer with lifetime *G in the pocket.

(But I guess there is no loyalty after reach 100K AQM/95 AQS and $20K AQD.)

I don't know if I have enough travel planned in 2019 to hit SE100K for 2020/2021... but I do plan on doing enough so I can qualify for 1MM and at least be SEMM until Feb 2020!

It's going to be a sad day on Jan 1st, 2019 when the gauges reset... Over 200k AQM, with the majority (95%+) on AC too.

I really wish they introduced the rollovers years ago. Not need to try as hard, although the AQD catch-up might be difficult.

And with threshold gifts, you can even get SE100K for only $10K AQD (in Canada) or $5K (elsewhere). Sorta.

Just rack up 250K AQM and a $20K AQD spend this year and you will have SE100K for 2019 and banked status for 2020. At least with the current rules. Which makes me think that banked status earned this year could be more valuable than we know. Just a hunch.

I will happily end the year with around 215K AQM (and about a zillion dollars of AQD) and have no real desire for an end of year MR to get to 250K.

Well, if you know or know of a 3MM, then that works too.

I know someone who has qualified for 2030/31. Possibly even 2050/51. Although that might be pushing it a bit.

Are you referring to a certain person based in YEG? I'm happy to say that I not only know of him, but know him personally.

I qualified for 2020/2021 on May 13, thanks to the banked SE threshold gift
