Perhaps an award for "Closest to squeak over the line" as well? 577AQM and 628AQD is the closest combined qualification I've seen.

Just requalified as well.

Quick question: Does anyone know how long it will take before I'm able to select my privileges for 2020? Could use those additional eUpgrade credits...

Not by far. One year I made it by 48 miles. Last year by just over 150 miles, but $4000 over the 20k needed which was unusual. And surely other folks must have done better. This year I won't be anywhere near as close according to my spreadsheet, with AFAIK all my flying until Dec 31 already purchased. And no intention to add anything to it.

I crossed my 100K back the first week of July and this Aussie trip will put me over the AQD

Looks like I re-qualified by AQM on May 22nd and AQD on May 12th. Probably the earliest I've re-qualified by a sizeable margin.

My *A revenue flying has really crashed since then though, still on 118K AQM and $24.7K AQD. So while I briefly thought I might make an assault on the 250K mark, that's looking unlikely.

I have, however, earned BA Silver status and WS Gold status for the year, so that's good.

Currently booked travel puts me around 140K AQM and $31K AQD I think, but who knows where it will end up, exactly. 150-175K by the end of the year, probably.

Might be wrong thread but I was E35K and early qualified for E50K yesterday.

Selected my privileges right away.
Do I receive new tags etc? ETA on these?

The thread you want is here: The Air Canada Early Status Recognition Thread

You will get new tags, ETA can vary wildly but expect to wait several weeks anyway.

Did we ever create a 21/22 thread, or something similar?

I seem to recall some form of discussion about such a thing.

You know it exists. You suggested I create it

Perhaps a separate and dedicated thread specifically for 250K SE Banked Year and the columns could include year earned and when it will be used, or leave that blank as we many not know until the end of this year. Some people may use the banked year they earned in 2018 as soon as 2019 for example, thus SE until end of Feb 2020.

You were the last one to post there, and replied:

I don't think we want that many threads running.

Yes, I was 99% sure it existed, but then I couldn't find it (mind you, I was on my phone, so not as easy).

Thanks.

Just requalified thanks to some AQD discrepancies being finally resolved.
AQM 107,958; AQS 22; AQD 20,415

The rest of the year is going to see a lot of OW (CX/BA)flying with possible domestic AC connectors and a push to qualify for gold on CX. Deflategate has had a direct impact on these decisions but then I guess that Aqd number means they're not that bothered but that's a discussion that doesn't belong here anyway.

So close!
Fortunately a very relaxed travel year for me so far. I need another 8 miles in order not to utilize my banked SE for next year. Seems doable with another almost 45k miles booked till the end of the year.
