It was on reddit. If you sign up for Lululemon, you get a discount code of some sort. You can use that to buy an oura ring through their partnership.

would a $200 gift card trigger the credit? Get that now and then buy it in January for next years credit?

I went to Lululemon today and bought something. The front desk cashier told me that he had someone buy 2 gift cards for $75 each on two plats. He confirmed the physical store cards have an SKU and different than e-cards. I told him about the $300 credit for Amex Plat members and he understood why he got that customer buying the $75 gift cards. I expect the physical gift cards will credit as they do show up as a legitimate purchase under the Lululemon store inventory.

I haven't read thru the whole thread yet, but for those placing a quick lululemon order, MileagePlus shopping portal has 10 miles per dollar offer today.

Do we think a $75 lululemon gift card from the internet will work? Seems like they process it like a regular way transaction (i.e. you can have a gift card and a shirt in the same cart Checkout)

Similar to Saks, as long as it's a physical gift card that's shipped to you and not an emailed digital eGift card (those are sold via Cashstar) it should work, but no one knows for sure yet.

They have digital and physical cards. Id bet the physical card will work, but its very doubtful the digital card will credit since the seller is CashStar, not Lululemon.

I might go LLL shopping next week when I am back in the store, and I will probably not have to resort to a gift card purchase. But in future quarters I might buy GCs to then combine them for larger purchases.

As always, pick up a few extra miles or points for online LLL purchases by going through a portal.

Its actually 10X on the UA portal right now.

This has been discussed several times in this thread. Historically, physical gift cards have worked to trigger Amex Lululemon offers so they should work for this benefit too. Egift card did not work and won't in this case either.

There will most likely be reports shortly of physical gcs being reimbursed for this benefit.

That's good to know. The window for the end of 3rd quarter is so tight, I didn't want to risk it, so I ordered actually clothing. Next quarter, I was thinking about going into an actual store, in part out of curiosity, to buy a physical gift card, much like I've done at Saks in Chicago and Las Vegas, but now maybe I won't have to.

I hate to say one of the benefits of the Platinum card is that it has improved my self confidence. The first time I walked into a Saks store as a middle-aged cisgender male, I was thinking about that scene in "Pretty Woman" where Julia Roberts walks in to buy a dress and is told by the snooty saleswomen that "Our stuff is very expensive. Please leave..." Would they laugh at me? Would they call security? Now I've gone into several Saks over the years to get gift cards and no longer care what they think......

Well, I stopped into the nearest Lululemon this afternoon. I hope the GC thing works so I can gift them and not buy more things that just "aren't for me." Wow. I bought a pair of workout shorts. With the 10 bag, $75.07. I hope the store never has a fire because all of the clothes would melt and create a terrible toxic black smoke. I don't think there was a cotton shirt in the place. Sin Thet Ick. I didn't peruse the socks. Maybe next time. Kind of like the $50+ shampoo I was buying at Saks when there was an open Saks nearby, I'm not counting the $300 as a benefit, even if I use it, because I'd never buy this stuff otherwise. But otherwise so excited that in less than two weeks, another quarter arrives, so I can return to this new favo(u)rite store!

I'm all for natural fibers but synthetics have their place in performance clothing. Personally I don't wear lulu stuff for casual/everyday stuff but for sports/exercise it's good stuff.
