gut feel, if BofA starts restricting it, they might do a quarterly cap, similar to the BoA Customized Cash card (pick one category to get 3% cash back + 75% bonus for being BofA Platinum Honors = 5.25% cash back + 2% (+ 75% = 3.5% cash back) on grocery stores and warehouse club -- they limit the cash back to $2500 combined per quarter)

I hope not. Just got approved for the card and have lived abroad for 25 years (APO address). Am looking forward to this feature. But don't plan to do any huge charges with it....

No Atmos cocktails at SFO. Staff said they will be likely the last to get them due to slow roll out - ETA October / November. But you can get the premium spirits now.

All they have to do is limit online transactions. Only physical foreign transactions count. No any type of pay except apple/samsung/google using your phone physically.

Except much of what we do for legitimate foreign transactions is online. I have numerous upcoming hotel bookings out of the US. All of the deposits were online. That's the same with flights within Asia or Europe. It's all done onllne.

I flew DE FRA-SEA earlier this year and it was fine. What's the problem with DE at FRA?

business class check in was 20 people deep....and not moving...i was in line for an hour and had to ask to drop bags or miss the flight. then they somehow didnt see my paid upgrade to prime i got during online check in (they even issued a BP too!) and demanded 500 euros or i cant travel....i have an email receipt from online check in even! THey said that all US flights should be a whole other section too...but there is no signage indicating even J class needs to go to the US desk that was for economy. ?!? Security is segregated for US flights versus none?!? no indication of fasttrak .... huge line for passport control ... i made it with 10 minutes before departure.....

Its an organizational mess.

Interesting data point on the Global Companion Certificate. I had to cancel the reservation I made using the cert and, unlike the old BofA companion certificates, the Global Companion Cert immediately goes back into your account. This is assuming it has not expired, of course. A nice feature and saves a phone call or having to change dates just to preserve the certificate.

maybe they could roll this out to the revenue companion passes, too?

And speaking of rollout

What exactly is challenging about rolling this feature out to all their clubs right away? Does it require much more than an email (fax?) explaining the process and the recipies for the current premium cocktail?

Is anyone else having issue with the waiving of the $12.50 partner booking fee as a Summit cardholder? I even called in to make the booking and the points reservations desk was unable to waive the fee. Their advice was to pay the fee during booking then call in after travel for a refund of the fee. I'm booking 3x passengers round trip and not exactly excited about loaning AS $75 for 6 months.

Yup, still waiting for my card that has been "out for delivery" for about a week. If it isn't here by Monday, I'll likely call and have it replaced.

You are paying with Summit card, and it doesn’t look like this?

Also, why wait until travel to request a refund. I would request it right away.

How fast did you get your certificate?
I hit 6k spend on Summit, balance and AF paid over a week ago, and still no 25k companion pass.
Hope they are not going to batch all of these monthly like they award points? That is one big advantage to DL. Their earned SkyMiles from CC spend post daily, as it does when a new status level if reached.
