Is anyone else having issue with the waiving of the $12.50 partner booking fee as a Summit cardholder? I even called in to make the booking and the points reservations desk was unable to waive the fee. Their advice was to pay the fee during booking then call in after travel for a refund of the fee. I'm booking 3x passengers round trip and not exactly excited about loaning AS $75 for 6 months.
You are paying with Summit card, and it doesn’t look like this?

This seems to get asked over and over. Just choose the Summit card and it will be waived. Here is what it looks like:
Also, why wait until travel to request a refund. I would request it right away.
