Before the Hawaiian acquisition, AS had planned for a large lounge in the new C expansion that was intended to be the new consolidated digs for C and D.
Curious if anyone has insights: Is that overcome by the international flagship lounge which seems aimed at business class customers on international itineraries? Or will there be 2 new lounges in the expanded C: one traditional, and one for flagship for international?
not sure how to read the tea leaves.

More tea leaves for you. In a board presentation about a shared use lounge in A, there was a notation about a future AS CCE lounge with a 38,993 sq ft. footprint. That seems a little large for just a regular lounge so there could be two.

I agree with your conclusion. That footprint would be 2.5X the N lounge so I can imagine it would easily accommodate both.

Hello from the NRT JL F lounge on HA 824.
Today at NRT HA check-in, the JL agent wrote First Lounge on my HA NRT-SEA boarding pass. She remarked that I was welcome due to OWE status. At the JL F lounge check-in, my boarding pass was scanned and after some typing, was granted access without any questions or fuss.
This ticket was AS purchased w/ AS# attached, in Y
I had no plans to try JL F due to previous reports. I was anticipating issues at Sakura due to my PP# not being on the boarding pass. A very welcome surprise.
My takeaway is this: even without checked bags, go to counter check-in. If they write First lounge on your BP, enjoy! If not, head over to Sakura with a smile. If this was an oversight, rather than a policy change, we want to leave the opportunity available for others instead of prompting clarification with check-in staff.

How far ahead of a non-connecting scheduled departure can you enter an Alaska lounge at locations such as Seattle and Anchorage where Alaska has a high concentration? And how far ahead for the check-in counter? I think the standard for various airports for Alaska is four hours?

I've always felt like any vodka over about $15/bottle just comes down to personal taste. From a market share/marketing standpoint, Tito's has just killed it. Younger crowds especially seem to like it. Numerous times I'd be bartending a party with our high-tier booze (fww, Goose was the vodka) and everyone kept asking for Tito's.
